I have mixed feelings about the Razer BlackShark V2 X gaming headset: 7.1 surround sound. Headset quality, headset sounds and microphone were excellent. However, the tax rate is clamped very strongly. I have a larger head/face wider than a typical person and this could be the reason for the narrowness. However, I've used other headsets including the Razer BlackShark V2 gaming headset: THX 7.1 (a more expensive relative of this one, but THX didn't work at all) with no issues. However, after 20-30 minutes of use, the pain in the ear was so unbearable that it became unusable. If you have a small head this might work for you. Incidentally, 7.1 surround sound is also ideal for games, films and music. I wanted to switch to a headset but ended up back with my HyperX.
