* Easy to connect to my old Sony 13" flat tube WEGA TV which still has a great picture! * This adapter somehow reformats the HDMI 16:9 signal to fit my TV's 4:3 tube. It's a bit stretched but still looks good. No black bars. Maybe more adjustments can be made, but I lost the remote! My fault. Still, it looks good out of the box. *I'm using an Apple TV 4K Streaming Box. * I also have a TIVO Mini connected to my TV and I don't need to change my TV's settings (brightness/contrast etc.) when switching between two set-top boxes.* This adapter is a perfect match for the TIVO Mini Video Out.* Overall this is a good cheap buy if you have an old tube TV and want to hook up an HDMI signal to it.
