I wore Chewy's Petrageous coat but this coat is the same design and NO zippers! that I love! It also has wool inside which is thick and warm. My dogs are 42 and 44 pounds but one is short and stocky and the other is long and skinny. Both have barrel boxes. Xlarge doesn't fit a dog's head so I ordered 2XL for that. It flew over his head but his chest gaped. We live in the Midwest, so I need something that fits snugly to my body to protect me from the wind and cold. The Xlarge went very snugly over the other dog's head while the 2XL just hovered over it. I wish they were a size between XL and 2XL. If the XL had a larger head opening and more front chest area that would be perfect. I had to return them because of the size. Working with the company is a dream, the return came immediately.
