Compared to the original that came with my mop, the only notable differences are the black plastic on the sides of this set, which feels harder and more brittle, and the mesh flap. Before inserting into the machine, the grille flap opens slightly, which is firmly closed after inserting into the machine. If you drop it in the sink, and sometimes while rinsing, the mesh flap pops out and it's easy to put back in place, but it's a little annoying. I didn't notice any lack of suction or moisture penetration. I didn't notice anything other than the differences mentioned above. For reference, in all the photos I've shared, this set is on the left, my original filters are on the right. So far so good, as I've occasionally overlooked an area, used it multiple times, or used it to pick up spills in the same day, clean and dry filters are a must.
