This works well when the shower floor is smooth, which is becoming increasingly rare these days. My shower has a textured floor so we don't slip and bang our heads on the stone surrounding it. This will prevent the item from sticking to the shower floor, making it much more problematic to use. It can be done, but it's not that simple. Putting one foot on the front end and the other in is the only way to keep it in place on the textured floor. I hope that was helpful.
