This film is a great way to reduce direct sunlight coming through your window. I have a special room where the sun heats the room to a higher temperature than anywhere else in the house. It's not great living in South Florida. In this case, this tint is exactly what I needed. I will agree with other reviewers that you need to take your time and install this carefully. Spray it a lot, but you should be able to apply it well.
