I really didn't like the mount that came with the Edge 500. It seemed very weak for such an expensive bike computer. I was even less pleased considering the O-ring attached mount, which can erode and crack under UV light. I know a person who lost their Edge 500 because the mounting tab broke and their device crashed into the rocks and disappeared. This mount is the opposite of that. It installs easily with the included 2.5mm allen key. I tightened with the indicated 0.8 N/m. It's made of high-quality plastic and has a clever bracket design that really grips the Edge 500 tightly. It keeps your computer in a perfect spot for viewing while driving. It also looks great on a bike.
