I use it to store all my travel gear for the trip ahead. The height is perfect for my chopsticks, full size utensils and straw cleaner. I would say it could be a bit longer for my shorter curved straws. But it is durable and can take a beating. If I was just holding my straws, cleaning brush and chopsticks it would still be the perfect size. If I took less, I would feel like my stuff was getting lost in the bag. But it does the job and I love the patterns and bright colors. All items in the photo will fit in the bag with extra space.
