They are not large. That's what it says on the packaging. They are made in China. If you are 5 feet tall, they might look tall. If you are a 6 foot male then this is a medium at best. My hands are small and tense. The build quality is satisfactory, apart from the pointless cheek pads. These things are about 30 square inches of Velcro each and will easily withstand multiple nuclear blasts and the apocalypse. Too bad I have to take them off. Now I just have to figure out how to undo all the velcro. They look weird and make it difficult to bend the gloves. As others have said the cuffs are not wide enough to fit in a parka sleeve. Haven't figured out how to wear them yet. The people who make these things have to wear them before they can sell them. They seem pretty warm.
