We've always loved Melissa and Doug's toys (except for a few that were real carp). However, this is a pretty good set. Our 3 year old daughter enjoys playing on the ice together while learning numbers. When I received the box I wasn't sure if she could put it together into one big puzzle. But that's true. The pieces are durable and made of good quality thick cardboard. And the bright colors are an added bonus. The only suggestion I can make is to provide some sort of mesh bag to store the parts later. Overall, this is a good toy that makes learning fun.
