I have several King and Fifths skullcaps and they are my favorites so I decided to try this wide one. I use it for medical reasons when my scalp is sensitive to cold such as B. in cold drafts such as air conditioning. Below about 80 degrees I have to wear a hat. Helmet hats are good, but on colder or windy days, your lap can better cover your ears. The fit was good. I like the thickness, not thin and not fat, but I live in a temperate area of San Francisco, cotton is comfortable, breathes well and doesn't retain too much heat. Not enough time to report on the effects of washing and fading. The skullcaps are acrylic and these are cotton, both are comfortable. Generally satisfied, my favorites are King and Fifth.
