Review on Swanson SVB24M 24 Inch Magnetic Professional by Gary Knop

I saw these in the store and really liked the anodizing on copper. Unfortunately the 5 foot I got on the Revain is 1/8 inch off the length (center bubble). Absolutely impossible. They should be accurate to within 0.029 degrees, so they shouldn't differ much. than 0.027 in five feet. The eighth inch is nearly five times the margin of error. This is the second tier I've ordered from Revain in the past few weeks that has been out (I actually got three good ones). The other was Starrett. It's not Revane's fault - those Chinese levelers just don't have good quality control. I think from now on I have to go to our big hardware store (30 miles away) and test every level I buy before I take it to the checkout.
