Review on Micro Solid Wood Pocket Hole Plugs Oak by Scott Channell

I bought these to replace cherry end caps to see if they would match my poplar material better. The texture of the oak plugs was very different from the texture of the poplar I used. I didn't see any poplar dowels, so I took a chance. The texture of the cherry corks matched the poplar better, but the color was completely different. I painted the material (instead of staining) so that wasn't a problem. I would like to see plugs made out of poplar wood.
