They have a nice, authentic steampunk feel. They are clearly aimed at aviators and/or steampunk. The tape is a high quality material. The lenses are dark enough to have a mirror finish. The sides are hard to see while wearing, so I definitely recommend taking them off if you're going to a party, just to be safe. They also look great on a hat, so this is a way to get them out of the way when you're dancing or walking. I'd worry about scratching the lenses, but we've been careful with them so there's no problem here. All in all a very fun product.
