We bought these for my practice when Covid started because there are times when a room needs to be left empty for X time before I can bring my next patient in safely . You can set it as a timer/alarm, but we always use the chronograph function because it counts and we don't have to deal with a nasty beeping when we've gone somewhere. We have four of these and so far ONE has come off the magnet. Luckily it almost fell in my bin so I was able to find it and glue it back together. That was six weeks ago and has remained untouched ever since. I also appreciate that we can turn it off at night to save batteries.
