I'm no expert on filters, but these things catch the same amount of dirt (or more) as the filter that comes with the Neato unit . I'm not familiar with HEPA, but microdust isn't my real problem. My problem is the ground dirt, sycamores, birches and a 100 year old house in San Jose, California. We often have windows open and the hardwood floors need to be vacuumed twice a week. So we're well on our way to using a lot of filters. It's nice to find a reasonably priced bulk pack that does its job well.
