UPDATE: So I bought AppStrap pads separately which come with a strip of fluffy tape to stick them on. I have a Smart Keyboard Folio case on my iPad Pro, so I just use this knee pad clip on my keyboard and snap the AppStrap pads between the keyboard/folio face and the iPad. Works great! I avoided knee pads because I didn't see a reason to until one landing hour where my iPad was trying to bottom out. I grabbed one of these and it helped a lot as I wasn't trying to balance the iPad on my foot while trying to steer. My only complaint is that because the iPad is held horizontally, I get horrible screen reflections without any protection whatsoever. Increase the viewing angle. I have a paper-like screen protector on my iPad to make typing more comfortable, but the downside is that the glare covers the entire screen for me. It would be ideal if they could provide something like AppStrap's pad to change the viewing angle, which would make it PERFECT!
