The color is a nice caramel tan. , Good sturdy boot. Not very soft but they feel good, rugged. I wear a true size 9W usually go for a 9-1/2 W when available. My foot is more wide than long and size 41 was perfect with a little room to spare to wear thick cozy socks. Insoles are removable and washable. Use with or without socks your choice as the are fully lined. I got these today so if something goes wrong , I will update. So far I'm loving them and plan on using on snowy days. Hope this helps.
