Review on Bench Anvil Mandrels SFC Tools by Denise Davis

Disappointing. I LOVE this concept, don't get me wrong. It is convenient to have an anvil surface with interchangeable parts. I could use different pins and I can use more than one mandrel in it. It's solid and (almost) well built. The problem is that the top flat piece of metal that should be used as an anvil is NOT FLAT! One side but about 2/3 of it has a cut out. The only job of this part is to just lie down and be level. No, that is not so. I will return and most likely buy from Otto or elsewhere (where there seems to be a bit more quality control) because I love this item, but it's sad when you buy a piece of metal that's meant to be completely flat and it arrives different condition. :(
