I would recommend it to anyone who wants their child to play in the water but is not old enough or the area is not warm enough for a children's pool. I got this for my 12 month old son early in the summer and he used it until it got cold in the morning. Every day we first went outside to test the water even if it was chilly, then after the first sleep after she was warm shirtless to play in the water and same later throughout the day.
