Review on Boys' Active Stretch Heather Shorts in Kid Nation Clothing by Darrin Parasson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The straps of the XL are too short and the waist is a little large.

These 2 sets of Kid Nation Boys' Basic Active Stretch Soft Sport Shorts are roughly true to size, although I don't know why they made the strings so short. They're tied at the ends so they don't hopelessly slip into the waistband, but they're so short that fresh out of the package they'll try to pull themselves in from either end, and there's literally not enough slack to tie them. - general. Hm?! My son is slim and the elasticated waist is a little loose (just enough to hang dangerously close to his bum), so it's frustrating that we can't tighten them by putting them on the usual one due to the oddly short laces bind way . . You used the wrong cord length for XL shorts. Not sure what did they think about that and we have to buy some longer strings for that which is pretty damn inconvenient and does NOT make these simple plain shorts a very good value. I hope this is not a problem for everyone and mine was an accident. But both shorts in this set shared the same issue - so be aware. In addition, these are decent, comfortable shorts with good pockets. . My son likes to sleep in shorts even in cold weather so they will most likely be used for this purpose until I find thongs for him that he can pull through his waistband due to their looser fit around the waist. Size XL is true to size. 10-12 and my son is 12 in most pants and tall for his age - and they fit well so no problem. In general, these are ordinary shorts, no more, no less. IMMV!
