Good price but too wobbly to walk on

Advertised as dance shoes I ordered a size 11 thinking they would be very stable. I was impressed with the price, the style and the fact that the shoes were leather. When my shoes arrived I was impressed with the quality of the smooth leather and natural suede sole. On examination, the arch is stiff and strong, but the length of the arch needs to be about 1/2 foot to 1 inch longer before it flattens out to the ball of the foot. And the cushions in the shoe area need more stability, they are too flexible for a hard floor. Even the shoes were wide enough, there was too much room over the toes for a snug fit. I couldn't wear a size 10 because the arch length would be even shorter, which would limit my options. The golden rule for buying heels is that when you put on a heel, the arch should match the length of your foot so you feel like you're walking barefoot and your legs are weightless. Rotate to try to grab and hold to gain stability, which in turn will affect your ability to step over the toe or slip if it's not snug. Poorly manufactured and ill-fitting shoes are unstable at the heel, ball of foot, or both, making walking inside dangerous and extremely uncomfortable.
