Wow. Mouse Pads and Wrist Rests

Let's face it. Most of us don't think much about a mouse pad. I would be considered an avid PC gamer and even used a cloth/rubber mouse pad that I think I got for free a few years ago. It just seemed to work, so I never thought about it. Recently I noticed the pad was getting dirty so I decided to buy another one. I was planning to buy the same and as cheaply as possible. Going through all the options I came across this mouse pad. At first, the thought of a hard surface mouse pad seemed alien to me, but the reviews were mostly positive, so I figured what the heck. Let us try it. Spring. I've had it for 4 days now and have absolutely no recollection of what life was like before the hard surface mouse pad. That's incredible. My EVGA TORQ 10 mouse practically glides over the surface. The pillow is double-sided, one of which is slightly rougher than the other. I personally like the rougher of the two sides. The workmanship and quality of the mat is very good and it looks great on my desk. The only reason I think this might put people off buying it is that it's larger than a regular rubber grommet so make sure you have room for it. Otherwise, if you're thinking of getting one of these, don't waste your precious gaming time and just buy it. I would be shocked if you didn't like it.
