Review on ARKON 25mm to 17mm Ball Adapter - Black - SP25MM17 by Logan Tripp

I love the stability of Arkon's 25mm "Robust Mount" bullets and RAM mounts and have used them in semi-permanent mounts in my vehicles. When I decided to upgrade to a wireless phone charger, all of the budget options used the less-stable 17mm ball joints. The adapter solved the problem by allowing me to install a new charger/mount on an existing mount. If you go down this route, there are two things to keep in mind: 1) It will add almost 3 inches to your existing rig 2) Check the "gender" of the new device you are trying to connect. If there is an internal thread on the back of the new holder, that's the size of a standard 17mm bullet, you're done. However, some mounts have a ball on the back and also require the addition of a female threaded shaft.
