This laptop stand was a great investment. I have long considered buying a standing desk to relieve pressure and pain in my neck and back. I have nerve problems from a herniated disc in my neck, so sitting at the computer for long periods has taken its toll on my body. Rather than shelling out $500 for a bar table, I'm so glad I bought it. Not only was it economical, but it was also completely portable and lightweight, allowing me to work anywhere there is a hard surface. This laptop stand is well made as it is made of durable aluminum. The kit included all the tools needed for a simple assembly that only took a few minutes. It has silicone grips on the top where it holds my laptop and also on the bottom of the legs to keep my laptop secure and non-slip. It can support weights up to 9 pounds and accommodate a laptop up to 17 inches wide. It elevates my laptop by about 7 inches, giving me a perfect line of sight from a standing position. It eased the pain issues I had when sitting at the computer. If you are looking for a laptop stand that doubles as a standing desk and saves you money, I highly recommend this product.
