This suit is soft and stretchy. It hugs her waist nice and snug, which appears to support her stomach and incision site after neutering. The calming effect is great, especially if you have a very spastic semi-feral teenage cat. At first she fainted like a goat (like they usually do when put on a harness). It didn't take long for her to get used to it and she can walk where she has to, but the tight suit makes her want to lie down and rest, which is perfect for recovering from surgery. Also, she can use the tray without damaging her suit. I would give it 5 stars but there is no size chart (order more) and it doesn't have an adjustable tie like some other brands. Honestly the description says you might need to sew the neck but the material is double folded and very thick and it would be difficult even if I knew how to sew. I put a safety pin in it and it works great, but it would be nice to use string. Tip: Kittens can move quickly and safety pins are sharp, so try to pin them down before you put them on. I needed a few tries.
