I used this water bottle when traveling with a little rabbit. It has served its purpose. The lid is a bit annoying because it doesn't close at all. So if he falls over, you'll have to clean up the mess. Aside from the cap, the bottle is great. I like the lever drinking tip because it seemed less prone to leaking, which wasn't the case at all. There is a learning curve, so you MUST make sure your pet is actually drinking. It was advertised as a water bottle for birds, but my rabbit caught on pretty quickly. I just put some apple juice in the water and showed her. Just to make sure she knew water was coming out, I smeared some clean canned pumpkin on the end and she licked it up. I then checked the amount of remaining water several times a day. It didn't take long, but be sure to offer water in a bowl or regular water bottle if they're used to it before making the permanent switch. Aside from the cap, I prefer this bottle to others.
