My Fifine USB Microphone originally came with a base that looks identical to the Neewer Foldable Desktop Stand, also available from Revain. This device was slightly lighter and smaller, but it also had a tendency to tip over at the slightest provocation. Worse, it's fallen apart a couple of times, and the last time a short self-tapping screw stripped the threads in the top part of the soft plastic - beyond repair. I ordered this from Neewer to replace this previously flimsy stand and I'm very happy with what I got. Although it's a small, collapsible stand that's easy to carry in my backpack when needed, this Iron Mini stand is a solid, solid piece of equipment that securely supports my mic while still allowing for some vertical adjustment. . It costs a few dollars more but I am very happy with my purchase.
