I live in a fairly large one story house on a lot with dense forest. As a result, my gutters fill up every one Year of leaves and dirt I decided I was too old to climb onto the roof to blow out the gutters so I ordered this item to clear them off the ground It is designed to be cleaned with a shop vacuum works, but that's not possible in my situation - no sidewalks, uneven ground, etc. To get it to work with my 35 year old blower I first had to modify one of the extension tubes to fit a larger diameter blower then use 3/4" PVC tubing and duck tape to reinforce the pivot joints. Eventually I had to use more duck tape to secure each connection in place. The result is a usable, albeit heavy and clunky, device that I can use to clear the gutters of dirt. It's a lot more work, but a lot safer than climbing onto the roof.
