I LOVE these battery operated salt and pepper grinders❣ I have strength and joint issues and problems with standard coffee grinders. They are so easy to use. Just flip it over and you have perfectly ground salt and pepper. I like the smooth ride of both, which is easy to achieve with the adjustable knob. They sit nicely by the stove or on any table. From a casual weeknight dinner to an elegant sophisticated dining table. The only downside I've found with them is that if knocked over unknowingly, they'll keep working until they're upright. We went on a trip with our mobile home. I placed them on the shelf without making sure they couldn't fall off. (MY MISTAKE) When we made our first pit stop on the potty, I walked back to the door and entered. As I entered, I heard a strange noise. As if something was going on. I went into the kitchen and the noise got louder. Even before I opened the closet door, I KNEW! Both mills had fallen over, and small heaps of salt and pepper lay nearby. I figured all 12 brand new batteries were probably dead. But no! We've been here for 2 weeks now and both grinders are still working❣ Also, these grinders are better priced than the more expensive ones.
