It was a cold winter in Wisconsin and my current winter boots didn't fit. I put on my sister's Sorel Caribou when we were away for a ski weekend and they were so comfortable and warm! I bought the youth version because they were offered at a cheaper price. You won't notice any difference between them and the adult version. They are great for very cold heavy snowfall and even muddy days when I take my kid to school. They're a bit heavy for running a long distance, so they probably won. not my first choice on cold but dry days.
