I have 2 pieces of furniture that need covers, a 2 seater sofa and this sofa. They are both retractable. My two seater is split so it has a cup holder in the middle which makes it nice but a little weird when closing. I originally bought a chair cover to try on one half of a double seat. I thought if it works great and if not no problem returning it. Well we liked it. But before I bought another chair cover, we kept arguing about the size of the sofa because the armrests have some padding and only the ends can be reclined. Although it had a physical size, some had armrests. Again - what have we decided to give back? Do we need to return or sell another item we just bought? So this time I bought an oversized case (XL). It not only fits correctly, but is also perfect in width and length. I only used 1 strap but if it looks like our part of the chair it really doesn't need to. It just makes the back side next to the window a little tidier. There is a triple pocket on the right side just for remotes etc if needed. For our loveseat, I simply tucked the center section with the triple pocket into the cup holder section. We never use the fold down center piece with the sofa so I left it on top to save on the seat. When the chair is laid out on the sofa, the velvety fabric covers most of the leg area, leaving only the foot exposed. The color is not really dark blue. It's closer to Montana Blue. The stitching is again the same as my other item so the quality seems to be fairly consistent. The lining is non-slip, like children's pajamas, but with more coverage. When I unpacked the box, the item did not smell. It arrived in a standard Revain box in a zipped bag, as were all the other covers, sheets and curtains, which were bubble wrapped. To be honest everything was perfect. I'm sure it will be more convenient when the winter chill reaches PNW, but it's something we can easily take with us when we move to reuse our furniture in storage. I will buy the last suitable chair. Lid to complete the set for our "temporary" furniture. Although not expensive I am very happy that these are items that can later be used on my good furniture to keep it beautiful longer wherever we are.
