Not too bright and not too dark
I wanted bathroom lighting for driving at night. Places one just under the ceiling above the toilet. Provides enough light to avoid glare on the eyes. Because it's mounted high on the wall, it recognizes me when I enter the bathroom. The bonus is that IF the power ever goes out, all I have to do is wave my hand over my head and it'll all carry on! (I actually tried doing this with the overhead lights off). In this scenario, I used my emergency flashlight elsewhere. I placed the second over our entrance so there was enough light to see the keyhole. It's great there as it turns on as you approach the front door.
