Review on Polycom SoundStation IP 5000 - PoE Powered (Power Supply Excluded) by Heather Wood

Works with our NEC sv8100 VoIP phone system. We connected this device to a Netgear 52-port PoE switch and it works great without a power adapter. It's a little tricky to set up (most VoIP phones are like that; they're basically little computers!), so we had to bring our phone technology to the table. The date and time is difficult to sync and will be reconfigured to sync to an internet clock that cannot be found. As soon as I set a different Internet Time Clock (NTP), they are immediately synchronized. Another thing the phone technician should set up for you.
