New review: The seller of this item contacted me right after my first review and explained that the 1 year warranty was through the dealer and not Hp. He then offered to send me a new computer instead and prepaid return shipping so I could send them the defective one back. He was very helpful and made the transition easy. This computer is great for everyday work and now I can also use it for my video conferences with no audio problems. I definitely recommend this computer and the Burnt Circuit dealer. Old Review: First off, I never write reviews, but I absolutely owe it to this product. I bought this computer less than a year ago and have had audio issues with muting and unmuting during a video conference, to the point where video conferencing is no longer possible. After spending about an hour trying to figure out how to actually speak to a person, the first person ended the call, then the second person's phone kept dropping and I couldn't understand his broken English. I was also told that my one year warranty expired before I even bought the computer! After 20 minutes on the phone with broken English and the connection dropped, I got absolutely nowhere and had to hang up. It's absolutely ridiculous that he's less than a year old and I can't get help.
