I have used this to stabilize the pH in my freshwater aquarium. I have a 36g tank. My pH went off the charts while cycling. Ph from my faucet is 7.2 and mine is 0kH. I added 1/4 cup of this to my filter in the tote bag. My pH has stayed at 6.8 since the water change. My pH is still very low (2 drops) but my pH is DEFINITELY more stable. When used in a freshwater aquarium, it will help raise the pH of your very acidic water. Know your goals and add VERY slowly and review them daily.
