This is part of a sewing kit I made for my 6 year old. She loved this sewing. The design was clearly marked and she could do it all with a little help from knots. The needle is not too sharp, the hoop worked perfectly. As for the reviews that there isn't enough thread, it really is. You have to separate the threads, if you don't do that, it's definitely not going to be enough. I divided the thread into groups of two threads and tied them in a knot (both ends together) to keep the thread from coming out of the needle as my daughter is only six years old and I didn't know how she would hold it Thread. in a pin else. There was even enough thread that did it that way. My daughter loves to sew and we have ordered more from the same company. The only thing is that the ink from the pattern didn't come out very well when washed. But I only used dish soap as I needed to get it done quickly. Maybe the ink will come out better with detergent. But the ink is still not visible as the thread closes the pattern.
