I actually bought one of these as a gift and then got one myself. Unfortunately it didn't stay in the cigarette lighter on any of my cars. Not for Europeans, Japanese, Koreans or Americans. It kept slipping and turning off, forcing you to pay attention to the road and try to plug it back into the cigarette lighter hole and then turn it back on. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the cigarette lighters on my vehicles. The springs on the side of this device are not strong enough to hold it in the lighter. This is very bad because I like the idea of this product. Its small size surpasses those that fill the entire cup holder. But until I find a way to store it in the cigarette lighter, it's basically useless and frankly dangerous. I actually found the solution by folding part of the packaging box it came in into a wedge. Now that it's stable, it's working pretty well.
