I'm a petite female (110lb max) and I liked that it was a small chair as per most reviews. I also like that the armrests are raised, a nice feature when I want to work with the chair tucked under the table to sit close. Oh. After about 8 months of regular home work, the seat suddenly buckles in the front, making me feel like I'm sliding forward. Mind you, I'm not a heavy person, that shouldn't have happened at my weight. Now I have to buy a new chair because comfort and ergonomics in the home office are absolutely essential for me. I want to buy a better quality item for long-term use. If I only used it occasionally, like sitting and paying bills, or scrolling the internet indiscriminately, it would probably last longer, hence my title.
