. I wasn't sure as there weren't many reviews and it costs more than other products. The only two complaints I have are that the plastic cable covers feel cheap. and fragile, but if you're careful they won't break. Another complaint is that there are those little pearlescent screw caps with adhesive on one side and shiny silver plastic on the other. Just enough to cover any exposed Phillips screw heads. However, these little sticky things are too big for the holes they are supposed to fit in, so they keep falling off. When I opened the box they were actually scattered all over the box and it took me a minute to figure out what they were supposed to have been. A very minor issue, especially since most of my hand is hidden behind my laptop and monitor. As for the hand, the material isn't cheap, it's sleek aluminum with a black plastic rim. The arm itself is adjustable and holds my 29" Asus Ultra-Wide quite well - it weighs 18lbs. it can be rotated easily etc. I've posted pictures showing it in various positions and showing silly screw caps. In the photo is my monitor in the highest position. Installation is easy. There are two options, one clip that goes around the back of your desk and the other clip that goes through the hole in your desk. The monitor stands very stable - doesn't hold up .doesn't really shake much or anything Some people complain that their shelves shake but that probably has a lot to do with the table they have, mine is heavy wood and thick steel tubing so those are studies.
