Review on Simple Modern Liter Weekender Cooler by Aaron Rosengren

A simple modern 30 liter weekender soft cooler is a beautiful bag and the materials feel durable. The waterproof zipper worked great for me and wasn't as difficult to use as some reviewers have noted about this type of bag. It's heavy when full, which might be a reason to buy a 20 liter bag if weight is a concern. When I took the bag out of the box there was a strong odor inside which I tried to remove by wiping the inside with a rag. wet towel. To my surprise, the case turned out to be leaking vertically at the back of the case. Very little water was used to clean the liner, which worried me about leaks. Ice for several days with no leakage from the outside of the bag. On the third day I drained the remaining cold water and dried the liner with a towel. The attached photos show the condition of the liner after towel drying. It looks like there is water on the back of the liner and seepage is higher on one side of the seam. I would give this bag five stars if it didn't have any flaws. Please comment if the leaking seam is unusual for this bag. If so, I will ask for a replacement. Update 7/6/18: I ended up returning the bag for a refund. No replacement option was offered.
