Beautiful imitation bonsai, but with possible damage in transit and assembly problems

The tree is delivered in a plastic bag in which the tree and the pot are separated. Nothing prevents a metal tree from rubbing against a pot. As you can see from the photos, the tree cart damaged the "grass" in the pot. There is a screw at the base of the tree that you put in the hole shown in the photos. There is no thread in the hole, so the tree is difficult to screw in. I bought another bonsai and assembled it by sliding the wood until it enters the material in the hole and then the wood is simply screwed into the tray and tightened. However on this other one when I put a screw in the pot the material in the hole broke through so the tree didn't tighten and although the tree stays upright it wobbles when shaken. Someday I'll glue it. Manufacturer's Notes: 1) Put the pot or tree in a plastic bag before placing both items in the mailer to protect the pot from damage in transit. 2) Thread strings through the hole in the pot so the tree can be easily screwed into the pot.

Pros
  • Material: Made of plastic, odorless, durable, harmless to health and environmentally friendly.
