They say it's for the long haul, but it's not. These glasses are not transparent at the top to be able to see in the distance. The top of the lens is twice as thin as the bottom. If you buy it with a reading strength of 3.0, the tip will have a reading strength of 1.5. You can't see into the distance as if you don't have glasses. It's a shame because the frames are very pretty.
