Very happy with this adapter, especially for the price. I plugged it into an outlet in my shed 100 feet from my main panel. It paired easily with my other adapters (a mix of different brands - all on different wiring circuits in the house). I connected this adapter to a POE switch with two 4MP security cameras streaming video to my DVR 24/7. I used this setting for about a month and the cameras only reported a momentary loss of signal which could be due to a power outage and has nothing to do with the adapter itself. There is no difference in video quality etc compared to my other cameras connected directly to the NVR which means this adapter provides a stable and fast connection. As with all powerline setups, your mileage may vary based on many factors, but this one works like a champ and does what I consider relatively heavy work based on the amount of data, circuitry, and the environment I'm working in. expose it. I'm curious to see how it will handle the cold in my non-air conditioned barn this winter (it has withstood some heat) but as it is not designed for the environment I keep it in I wouldn't. blame the product/manufacturer when it fails.
