Review on πŸ‘Ά SYCYH Baby Bassinet Bedside Sleeper: Easy-to-Assemble Co-Sleep Crib for Newborns with Safe Breathable Mesh by Joyce Jones

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Inexpensive bassinet but don't expect it to open from the side at 2am

This bassinet is certainly affordable compared to the mainstream offerings on the market and this price has some caveats. While it's super easy to put together (I was able to assemble it in about 15 minutes without instructions for the most part) and the legs do a great job of holding the device in place (seriously, I have to lift at least one side to get this thing out). walking on its hardwood floors), there are two things that keep it from getting a 5-star rating. First, and this is quite minor to be honest, this bassinet doesn't fit on the bed at all. While this isn't a deal breaker per se, it's a feature we've had in a previously owned bassinet that was surprisingly comfortable. The second part that really hurts this bassinet is all the side opening work. The two buttons are not that easy to get to (you have to climb into the cradle, unzip, over the crossbar and then all the way down, then slide the fabric on either side to open the buttons. Then while you're unzipping the fabric , you have to push the rather tight knobs in and then move up the whole bar to loosen them, which is an accomplishment in itself - they really don't want to loosen - once you've done all that, you should awake enough to get a really good grip on the bar, but if you don't hopefully your baby will be at the other end of the sleeping surface to drop the (thankfully soft) bar on your poor baby, at which point we're asleep simply with the bassinet firmly pressed against our bed, swaddle our one week old baby tightly and lower the bar for the night m sure the side opening tabs are in con Relax at the end although we may no longer need the cradle by then.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad
