I really love these shoes! So easy to put on and take off my little one. I've bought so many pairs of shoes when my baby was learning to walk to find the perfect pair and here they are. She couldn't put shoes on her little plump feet, and even when I put them on they wouldn't stay on. Also, the shoes she left behind mostly had rubber bands that left marks on her legs, which I didn't like at all. I want my child to be comfortable and safe and I think these are the perfect shoes. They open very wide when you open the velcro and then you can fasten them tightly to keep them from falling off. My daughter was mostly barefoot when she was learning to walk, but she needed something with more support when she started walking and climbing. The soles they have are the same as adult shoes and they give them what I think has helped my daughter a lot with balancing and transitioning from soft soled shoes. I like them so much that if I find them at a good price I'll buy a pair in their next size up. By the way, if you see them for less than $20, it's a steal. I'm sold!
