There are reviews that complain about the 1 inch slot at the bottom of the bag. He must be there. It is not only cut, but sewn like a loop on all sides. "A socket built into the base for attaching D-rings" which says in the description. This allows you to pull the helmet strap out of the pocket and connect it to the helmet lock on the bike. You can also run the cable through the hole, through the helmet, and attach it to something secure like a pole or bike rack. The bag is exactly what I wanted and the price is reasonable. The interior is soft and fluffy to protect against scratches and offers a bit of impact protection. It doesn't say "Raider" like the picture but I don't care as I don't have a Raider helmet (I'm a Shoei guy).
