Lights arrived well packaged and easy to unwind. Because the wire is very light, they are hard to keep in place if you are not putting them in an enclosed area, such as a bottle, or glass, although eventually I was able to get them to stay in place on my kitchen counters. The larger issue was that after several hours of use on the very FIRST day, they no longer worked. Fortunately, I had spare batteries, & that was the problem -- in all 16 fairy lights, i.e. 100%. My suggestion is for the manufacturer either to sell the lights at a lesser cost without batteries, or make sure included batteries have normal shelf life. That said, the lights really accentuate my holiday decorations.
