I actually bought 2 pairs for my 2 kids. One kid loves them, another hates them, once dressed and now they're in the box. The lights need to be charged, so a small cable runs through the top of the shoe just in front of your child's foot. After wearing it once, they rubbed my son's skin and he refused to wear them again (and I totally understand that!). Since the light needs to be charged, you also need to plug your child's shoes into an outlet, which is cumbersome and mostly not done in my house. The light is either always on or off. They don't turn on when baby jumps like other shoes. So the lights are very annoying and of course the battery often breaks. Although the shoes seem to be holding up well after some use, I would not buy them again.
