Fits perfectly in my 12U home lab server rack, although you have to remove (unscrew) the included rubber feet to properly fit the 1U space. The up switches flicker a bit after a few months of use but still work great. I hooked mine up to an APC 1500 Pro UPS with an optional battery pack, then hooked up the modem, router, switch, media converters, switch, server, printer, print server, etc. in a PDU. If my cable modem (or other device) is running, requires a forced shutdown, or needs to be shut down for maintenance, I can just turn it off without grabbing the cables. The plugs are a little tight if you have wall warts, but I was able to get some adapters for short plug cords to allow the wall warts to rest on the bottom of the rack for more room. some sort of cover or notch on the switches to make them less prone to accidental bumps - hasn't happened yet, but I see it as a possibility. add more devices in the future.
